In a defiant tone, Milei expressed that 'Not only are we not afraid of them, but we will seek them out to the last corner of the planet in defense of FREEDOM.' He emphasized that Musk, by acquiring the X platform, challenges the hegemonic control of wokeism.
Milei's statement came in the context of Donald Trump's recent inauguration as president, where Musk, now head of the Department of Government Efficiency, made a gesture interpreted as a military salute, generating controversy and debate on social media. Milei argued that Musk's acquisition of X will be remembered as one of his most significant contributions to humanity, pointing out that the entrepreneur promotes human progress and defends freedom in its purest form.
Meanwhile, former Vice President Carlos Ruckauf also responded to the criticisms, stating that it is unfair to distort Musk's salute, highlighting that it trivializes the holocaust.
